The Lord has given us some important things to remember and do. These practices are sacred and very special. They are communion, baptism and confession. We celebrate them often as they are vital for our spiritual lives. Yet, there are a lot of ideas and confusion about each one of them. Many of us hold onto wrong ideas and need Biblical clarity about these practices. We are going to spend a week on each of these sacred ceremonies that the Lord has given to us. We are going to look at the exact reason, meaning, and importance of them throughout the Bible. When we rightly understand the depth and significance of them it grows and encourages our faith deeply. We start our new series by examining in depth the practice of communion, or the Lord’s Supper. Jesus Himself instituted this sacred practice for us on the night He was betrayed. We are going to see what it is, why we practice it often, and how to honor the Lord in it.
