Lakes Children
If you love children, this is the place for you. We are looking for volunteers to help in our Children’s areas on Sunday mornings with Early Childhood (Birth-5y) during the 9:30 and 11:15am Sunday services, and with our Kids Creek program (1st-5th grade) on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm. There are many different ways and capacities to serve with Lakes Children and the time commitment would be about once a month.
Lakes Youth
We are looking for volunteers to help in our Youth ministry on Wednesday nights with Early grades 6-12. There are many different ways and capacities to serve with Lakes Youth. The time commitment would be weekly.
Worship Ministry (Audio/Visual/Musical)
Our Worship Team is not just the people you see on stage on Sundays. While we are always looking for gifted musicians and vocalists to join the worship band, we are currently also actively looking for those who would like to help behind the scenes with important tasks like, slides, camera, sound, stage design, and other tech needs.
We WILL train you – students are very welcome as well!
We are also starting a choir and orchestra that will help lead worship every once in a while and will rehearse seasonally leading up to those events. If you are gifted in these areas, please email worshipteam@thelakescc.org for more info!
Greeters / New Here Team
If you love being friendly and are passionate about people having a great experience as they enter our church, this is the place for you!
We are in need of greeters to welcome people upon entering the building and directing them to the Worship Center/other areas, and New Here team members to create a welcoming experience specifically for newcomers. The time commitment would be once a month and you’d stay for both services on that Sunday. We ask volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before service starts to be prepared.
Welcome Table
If you love being helpful, this is the place for you. We are in need of Welcome Table attendants that can help with guest services, resources, and answer general questions. The time commitment would be once a month and we ask volunteers to be available 30 minutes before and after each service.
Parking Lot
We are looking to rebuild our parking lot volunteer team, and are in need to a few people to assist with managing traffic flow and drop-off areas in the parking lot. This would be a once a month commitment and we ask parking volunteers to be available 30 minutes before and after service.
Creative/Communications
If you are passionate about finding creative ways to amplify what we are doing as a church, through creative communications like arts, photography/video, design, social media, displays, decor, etc. this is for you.
