July 2 | The Sanctity of Life – Jason Mateika
Synopsis: The preamble to the Declaration of Independence states that we have certain unalienable Rights endowed by our creator, which include Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. This week we will consider the unalienable right to life. Specifically, we will consider God’s holiness and sovereignty in creating and preserving life, our culture’s struggle in differentiating between a human being with potential vs. a potential human being at the point of conception, the role of sacrifice in making difficult choices, the benefits to preserving life and the church’s response to ensure the unalienable right to life.

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. CHAT-A-LATTE’ | JULY 15 AT 9:30AM
All Lakes Women are welcome and encouraged to attend our Chat-a-latte from 9:30-11:30am in the atrium. Bring a friend, and come relax, drink coffee (or tea), enjoy one another’s company, and get to know some new people!
VBS 2023 | JULY 17-20
It’s happening!!! VBS 2023 is almost here! This year, we’ll be celebrating all kinds of games. From classic tabletop games to strategy games to video games and more, children will play their way through our week of VBS! But more importantly, they’ll see Jesus through the eyes of one of His closest friends and discover that trusting Jesus as Savior and following Him changes the game entirely!
Here are the details:
Monday, July 17th, through Thursday, July 20th
Nightly from 5:15pm to 8:45pm
Open to all children age 4 through 5th Grade (grade entering in the Fall of 2023)
HOPE FOR PARENTS OF PRODIGALS | JULY 22
LAKES FAMILY CAMPOUT | JULY 21-23
This is our annual church family outing to Somerset Beach Campground! Bring your camper or tent and camping gear for this fun weekend at the lake. Play on the beach, hike, swim, play volleyball or softball, sit around the bonfire, or just relax with friends. The cost for the campsite is $95 for the weekend, and food for the potluck/ice cream social is $12 per person (ages 6 and over). REGISTER HERE to reserve your campsite now!

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:30 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during The 9:30 and 11:30 services and Tuesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

THURSDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service.
