SUMMER SERIES AT THE LAKES CHURCH

The Bible is filled, cover to cover, with people. It is jam-packed with ordinary men and women who are broken and in serious need of redemption. The good news is that the Bible is not a story about us, but a story about God. It displays God’s glory and grace in individuals’ lives, families, nations, and the whole world. It shows us how Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost and transform us to become truly human. We are going to spend the Summer looking at ordinary people who have an extraordinary God. Some of the men and women who lived by faith are inspiring, encouraging, and examples to follow while others serve as warnings of what happens if we reject the Lord. When we see how God has worked in the lives of others, it gives us hope that He can do the same in and through us.
