April 14 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 4:13-25, Part 12: God is Able – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: Do you know that God is able? This is one of the most important questions you will ever have to answer. Sometimes we wonder if we have enough faith or if our faith is strong enough. Yet, Jesus tells us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, which is one of the smallest seeds, nothing will be impossible for us (Matthew 17:20-21). The amount of faith is not the most significant thing but the object of our faith is. We see in Romans 4 the example of Abraham. Abraham is considered the father of the faith because he simply believed God. This gives us great assurance and confidence in our walk with the Lord as God wants us to grow in our trust in Him and transform day by day. He wants us to know that He is able to do what He promised.
Fighter Verse: Romans 4:20-21 – “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, 21 fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. ”

MEN’S ADVANCE | MAY 17-19
You don’t want to miss this exciting weekend! Join with other Lakes Men (18+) to be challenged to grow in our faith and fellowship together, as we enjoy lots of food and fun activities together. This event will be held at Faholo Conference Center in Grass Lake, MI from May 17-19. Early registration cost for food and lodging for the weekend is $170, increasing to $180 after April 28 (some activities cost extra).

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
How often do we rely on our own strength and power instead of leaning on God? We fall short and this leads to worry, fear, and anxiety. This week, we’ll be studying some of Elisha’s miracles as a reminder of God’s sovereign power and ability to accomplish all things!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
