March 10 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 3:1-20, Part 8: Humanity’s Greatest Need – Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: God is faithful. Nothing can stop the Lord’s faithfulness, even our unfaithfulness. Romans 3 displays that He is always faithful to His promises and Word. This chapter is the crescendo that shows humanity’s greatest need. All people are in need of a Savior. No matter our background, knowledge, good works, or anything else. Listen to Romans 3:10, “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God.” The Lord shows us our need and also promised a remedy that is found through Jesus alone. When we grasp this it not only changes our lives but is so practical in how we choose to live.
Fighter Verse: Romans 3:20 – “For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.”

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
ALL CHURCH FAMILY MEETING | MARCH 17
Join us on March 17th as we look back over 2023 and celebrate all God has done at The Lakes Church. This meeting will take place right after the third service at 12:30.
EASTER SUNDAY | MARCH 31
This Easter we are so excited to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with you, our church family. We will have four services – 8:00am, 9:30am, 11am, and 12:30pm. There will be Lakes Children for ages birth – 5th grade in all services.
BAPTISM | MARCH 31
We will have an opportunity to get baptized during both services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
The Bible contains some very clear directives about what we should and should not do. So…what happens when we go against God’s directions? We’ll be looking at King Jeroboam and what happened when he ignored very clear instructions he had been given.
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
UPCOMING EVENTS:
WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service.
