March 17 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 3:21-26, Part 9: The Heart of the Bible – Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: The heart of the Bible is found in Romans 3:21-26. It shows how all of God’s plan for salvation is found exclusively and ultimately in what Jesus has done. It shows the heart of God and how He provided redemption for us. It shows God’s patience and justice. It also shows that God is our justifier. He is the One that provides forgiveness for our sins and gives us new life. This week’s passage is one of the most deep and dense portions of Scriptures in the whole Bible. It gives us great hope, joy, and peace. It motivates us to follow God’s calling for our lives when we understand how amazing His grace is.
Fighter Verse: Romans 3:23-24 – “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

Join us THIS SUNDAY, March 17th as we look back over 2023 and celebrate all God has done at The Lakes Church. This meeting will take place right after the third service at 12:30.
GOOD FRIDAY | MARCH 29
Join us on March 29 at 6pm as we remember the day Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
Childcare available for birth – Kindergarten.

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
Sin of every kind is rampant in our world today. It wasn’t much different during Elijah’s time. But God used him to be a light in the darkness around him. When we trust in God, we’re called to the same purpose today – to make visible the power of God in the world around us!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service.
