December 31 | Open Those Windows! – Pastor Chris Clark

Synopsis: Daniel at age 80 was doing the same thing that he was doing when he was 16: he was going to his room, opening his windows, facing towards Jerusalem, and praying 3 times a day, thanking God and asking for help in times of trouble. Every believer of Jesus can experience life transformation as Daniel had by taking the following steps:
1. Open Your Windows
2. Point the Right Direction
3. Understand Who You Seek
4. Be Specific
5. Do It Again Tomorrow

Fighter Verse: Daniel 6:10 – “When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem.”

What’s Happening?

FAMILY SERVICE | DEC 31

5th Sunday at The Lakes means Family Service! There will be no Lakes Children program for Elementary Age (1st-5th grade) this Sunday. We invite children in this age group to worship together with their families this Sunday! Early childhood (ages Birth-Kindergarten) still available during both services upstairs.

ROOTED SMALL GROUP | JAN 15

Rooted is designed for all people but especially new people to the church, new Christians, and those who are looking for a refresh to their spiritual lives. This is a 10-week study of the foundational aspects of the Christian faith.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY | JAN 23

Please join us for this exciting and informative study called “Abide” as Jen Wilkins examines 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John. It will be held at The Lakes church in the upper level, large group room, on TUESDAYS. You can join either the new daytime class from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm or the evening class from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm beginning January 23. The cost for this study is $27 and is available to ladies 18 and older.

EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.

ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during The 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
