December 24 | Advent – Part 4: Love – Pastor Mark Pospisil

Synopsis: God has a perfect love. It is spoken and shown throughout the whole Bible countless times. For the 4^th week of Advent, which is Christmas Eve, we will be focusing on Love. God’s love is perfectly demonstrated in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This is why Jesus came because of the love of God in order to save us. There is no love like the love of God. He wants us to know it and be transformed by it. The Lord’s love is good, illustrated, forever and totally free.

Fighter Verse: John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

CHRISTMAS EVE | DEC 24

Join us on Christmas Eve as we center our hearts on, and thank God for His greatest gift in Jesus Christ! We will have four services: 9am, 11am and 1pm and a candlelight service at 11pm.

We will have Kids Ministry at the 9am, 11am, and 1pm services.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY | JAN 23

Please join us for this exciting and informative study called “Abide” as Jen Wilkins examines 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John. It will be held at The Lakes church in the upper level, large group room, on TUESDAYS. You can join either the new daytime class from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm or the evening class from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm beginning January 23. The cost for this study is $27 and is available to ladies 18 and older.

Core Ministries – Weekly Update

God’s plan to rescue people from sin wasn’t a secret plan. Everything God had said about Jesus’ birth came true! And God gave His people hope about the coming Savior. Even then, Jesus’ birth was so unlikely! A King laid in a manger! But it was just one more sign that He “did not come to be served, but to serve….” (Matthew 20:28).

EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.

ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during The 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
