Synopsis: Everyday this week the national and international news headlines have reminded us that we live in a broken world. We all want it fixed. The heart of man craves for security, cries out for peace and yearns for justice. These desires will never be achieved through human effort. They will be secured only through the return of Jesus to establish His Kingdom.
Fighter Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

We will be collecting the baby bottles for the Baby Bottle Boomerang this Sunday. The Next Steps Pregnancy Center is also accepting donations of unopened baby wipes and hand soap. If you have either of these you would like to donate, please bring them Sunday and drop them off at the Welcome Desk.

Save-the-date and invite your neighbors, friends, and family to this special outdoor Service in the park at Multi-Lakes Conservation Assoc. (3860 Newton Rd, Commerce Charter Twp, MI 48382) on Sunday, August 13 at 10am. Join us for this exciting morning of Worship & Message ‘under-the-tent’, followed by a BBQ picnic and an afternoon of fun treats and activities for the the whole family!

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
With Vacation Bible School wrapping up this week, we’re ending with another story of Peter! Maybe one of the more important lessons any of us need to learn but, more importantly, live out in our daily lives – Jesus is for Everyone!!! Regardless of who you are, where you’re from, or what you’ve done in the past, we can have a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:30 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during The 9:30 and 11:30 services and Tuesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
THURSDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service.
