November 26 | My Journey with Autism and Faith – Ron Sandison
Synopsis: Ron Sandison a minister and author with autism shares his challenges and how God helped him overcome by learning social skills and handling sensory issues. Sandison teaches practical ways for the church to reach out to families who have a child with autism and to empower individuals on the spectrum and with other disabilities to grow spiritually and participate in ministry.

What’s Happening?
21 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING | NOV 6-27
We pray because it changes things. Sometimes we think “prayer changes me, that’s why I should do it.” While that is true, it does change you because you are in God’s presence. It gives you a deeper spiritual experience, firmer confidence, and joy in your walk with the Lord. Yes and amen to those things. But, it’s more than that. It’s also powerful! Prayer changes things. The Lord has designed it that way.
This is why we put together a prayer guide for The Lakes Church. We encourage you to use it every day whether that is by yourself, with your spouse or whole family, or with friends. Each day includes a Scripture reference, a short devotional, and a prayer point. We are seeking God as a whole church for the next 21 days and we are going to watch the Lord do immeasurably more than we can ask or even think!

We will meet on the first Friday of each month beginning November 3 from 7-9 PM in the Children’s Large Group Room for 13 sessions. The cost of the program is $99.99 per couple (plus shipping for the books). Click the sign-up button to register and receive the link to pay for and attend the sessions.
BAPTISM | DEC 10
We will have an opportunity to get baptized during both services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during The 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

Kids Creek Christmas Party | December 8, 6-9pm.
WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service.
