This Week | October 23 – 29, 2026

October 25 | Revelation – The End and the Beginning, Part 7: The Sin of Tolerance, Revelation 2:18-29 – Pastor Mark Pospisil

Synopsis: There are two important things that we need in our lives that we usually underestimate. The power of encouragement and the power of correction. Jesus has the most to say to the church we are looking at this week. It is the church of Thyatira. He brings them a strong encouragement but also a strong correction. There are some incredible things happening in and through them. The Lord wants them to continue to soldier on and stay the course. But, He has one major thing against them. Some are tolerating perversion and false teaching that is leading them into sin. In one sense, the value of tolerance can be a good thing when we respect others who disagree with us. In another sense, and what is happening here, tolerance is leading to sin. They are accepting, loving, and partaking in things that God hates. Their “tolerance” is really an excuse to do whatever they want. Tolerance can be a sin when it moves from patience and respect for differences into celebration, silence, and taking part in evil. We must be on guard not to follow the course of this world but to follow Christ.

Fighter Verse: “But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.” – Revelation 2:20

What’s Happening?

THEOLOGY REFRESH | 10/24

Join us for Theology Refresh—a once-a-month Saturday class at 10am in the Worship Center, designed to deepen your understanding of God’s Word and strengthen your faith. Each month, we’ll explore a different theological topic in a way that’s both engaging and accessible, whether you’re new to the faith or have been walking with Jesus for years. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and be refreshed in your knowledge of who God is and what He has done.

Q&A | 10/25

Stick around after the third service on one Sunday of each month for a Q&A time with Pastor Mark. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the message, faith, or anything you’ve been wondering about. Pastor Mark will take time to share insights, dive a little deeper into Scripture, and have real conversations about life and faith. Don’t miss this chance to connect, learn, and grow together!

BABY BOTTLE DRIVE | 10/25

Starting this Sunday, we’re partnering with Next Steps Pregnancy Center to help support the incredible work they’re doing in our community! Pick up an empty baby bottle at the Welcome Desk and fill it with change, cash or a check. Then, bring your filled bottle back to the Welcome Desk by the end of November.

Every bottle makes a difference, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to Next Steps Pregnancy Center.

HARVEST FEST | 10/29

Harvest Fest is our annual celebration of all things fall! We’ll have a huge trunk-or-treat, hot cider, donuts and other yummy fall foods, music, candy and fun activities.

Come dressed in your Halloween costume and invite all your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers along to enjoy a night of fall fun on October 29th, 6:30-8:30pm! This event is open to anyone and everyone!

*Park in the upper lot, and come down the stairs to join the fun!*

MEN’S TAILGATE | 11/21

Join us on November 21 from 11:30am–3:30pm for our Fall Football Tailgate! This event is for men ages 16 and up. We’ll enjoy great food, fun activities, prize giveaways, and plenty of time to hang out, meet new friends, deepen relationships, and build connections.

Our Associate Pastor, Jon Moore, will be sharing his testimony and encouraging us to get off the sidelines of our Christian walk and “Get in the Game!” Most importantly, this is a great opportunity to be strengthened and encouraged in your walk with Jesus.

Please complete the registration so we can get an accurate headcount. You can also register any additional guests under your name.
