Seeking God | Day 4

If you have children you know there are many things they ask of you that you cannot fulfill. My children have asked me if I could fly, pick up a semi-truck or jump over a house. The answer to all of those is a resounding no (though I might have told them maybe). When in prayer, you cannot ask too much of God when it is all for His glory. He is able to do far more than anything we can envision, plan, or even ask. How incredible is that promise?!? It is according to the power of the resurrection of Christ that is working in us. One day, every knee will bow to Jesus Christ as Lord. We know the end of the story; the war is already won! Because of this, let’s pray bold prayers and dream big dreams for God’s glory. Let’s get our eyes off of ourselves and focus on what truly matters; eternity.

PRAYER – That God would bring a renewal and revitalization into our church and community. That the Lord would use our church to forever change our community and that we would be an avenue where the gospel goes forth in power.

Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
