Seeking God | Day 15
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Every single person who is alive today is made in God’s image and likeness. There are things that are intuitive in us because we are created by God. People have a sense of justice and love. We want community and relationships on different levels. We all know the difference between right and wrong. People can suppress this (Romans 1:18-25) and harden their hearts, but the truth still stands. We also all know that death is not natural. The Lord placed in each of us the sense of eternity no matter what we believe. People are all seeking answers even if they are not aware of it. This sense of eternity is used by the Lord to draw men and women to Himself.
PRAYER – Think of a family member or close friend or neighbor or co-worker who does not know Jesus. Pray that the truth of eternity would be used by God to draw them to Himself. Ask that God would give you opportunities to share the gospel.
