September 10 | Proverbs – The Wisdom of God for Today’s Issues: Part 6 – The Essential Nature of Friendship and Community – Mark Pospisil

Synopsis: This first thing that the Lord said was not good in the Bible was that it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18). God designed us to be in community. We were hardwired to be in a relationship with our Creator and others. The book of Proverbs shows us the importance of this as well. Proverbs show how vital relationships and friendships are. Listen to Proverbs 18:1, “Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.” The Lord does not want us to be isolated but with others. This week we are looking at the value of friendship and community.

Fighter Verse: Proverbs 18:1 – Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.
