February 11 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 1:18-23, Part 4: Grasping God’s Wrath – Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: Sometimes the idea of God’s wrath confuses us. We have questions like, “how can God be loving and have wrath?” Some people deny this idea because they don’t understand it. The theologian Richard Niebuhr once said, “A God without wrath brought men without sin into a Kingdom without judgment through a ministry of a Christ without a Cross.” The Scriptures are clear, though, that God’s wrath is real. He is the Judge of the whole earth and sees all. Just think about when you see injustice and the devastating effects of sin. What is your response to that? Romans 1 helps us to grasp and understand God’s wrath and how to avoid it in Christ.
Fighter Verse: Romans 1:18 – “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.”

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
When you pray for the next generation, what do you pray for and what does it sound like? David’s desire for his son was that Solomon would grow into a godly man who is faithful to the Lord in every way, knowing that his only hope would be to trust fully in God. This week, we’ll start to learn about Solomon and the choices he made.
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during The 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

February 24 | Friday Fun Night (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service.
