Seeking God | Day 11
Is there anybody or anything more powerful than God? Is there anything more wise than Him? Can anything beat the Lord? The answer to all of those questions is simply, no. The Lord is all-powerful and all-wise. Now think about the promise He has given us. If He is for us, who can be against us? If you are in Christ, trusting in Him alone for your salvation, God is for you. He has adopted you into His family. He gave up His Son for you. What would keep Him from giving us what we need right now? In whatever desperate situation or trial you are facing, trust in the goodness of God. Just look at the cross and resurrection of Christ and let your soul find deep rest.
Romans 8:31-32
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
PRAYER – Thank God for Jesus’ incredible sacrifice for you. Thank God that He is now for us. Ask Him to give you a deep assurance of His love. Pray that our church would realize the overwhelming power of God.
