May 18 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 16:25-27, Part 59: The End that Launches a New Beginning – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: The book of Romans is the greatest letter ever written. We have been working through this book for about 1 ½ years. The end has finally arrived and the Lord has taken us on an amazing journey. We have seen how Romans contained some of the most incredible promises in the Bible and it has challenged us like nothing else. Individual verses in Romans have literally changed the world. Romans was all about the gospel and it gave us the solution to our most important need which is found in Jesus. We end our series with the last few verses that are a benediction and a prayer to God. This is the end of the book but it launches us to a new beginning with the Lord.
Fighter Verse: Romans 16:25 – Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages.

PARENTS OF ’25 SENIORS
CHAT-A-LATTE’ – 5/17
All Lakes Women are welcome and encouraged to attend our Chat-a-latte from 9:30-11:00am in the atrium. Bring a friend, and come relax, drink coffee (or tea), enjoy one another’s company, and get to know some new people!
FRIDAY FUN NIGHT – 5/30
Oh yeah – it’s gonna be awesome! Everything backwards all night long!!! Dinner, Games, Music…who knows what else?!?
Come join us from 6:30pm-9:00pm in the upper level of the church. Open to all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
FAMILY CAMPOUT – 6/20-22
This is our annual church family outing to Somerset Beach Campground! Bring your camper or tent and camping gear for this fun weekend at the lake. Play on the beach, hike, swim, play volleyball or softball, sit around the bonfire, or just relax with friends. The cost for the campsite is $77 per campsite for 2 nights. Core Ministries – Weekly Update
On any given day during Jesus’ time on earth, the disciples would have heard Jesus preaching about the kingdom of God. This week, we turn to Jesus’ largest teaching, the Sermon on the Mount, and more specifically, the Beatitudes! What does it mean, especially for a child, to live a life fully submitted to God?
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

VBS | July 21-24 – Register Here
WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).
High School students meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday at 6:30pm at Lakes West.
MONDAY NIGHT YOUNG ADULT GROUP – Young adults ages 18 (post high school) – 29, join us for young adult ministry on Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm. We meet weekly in Waterford, with the occasional offsite location. Email Ministry leader Dave Borowicz for location and questions.
