November 3 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 8:35-39, Part 35: Becoming More Than a Conqueror – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: Romans 8 finishes with some incredible declarations for our faith. When we are in Christ, nothing can separate us from God’s love. This includes everything in all creation. No angel or demon. Nothing in the present or the future. Nothing in life or death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. The Lord makes us more than a conqueror through Christ who loves us. We are going to look at these astonishing realities and what it means to be more than a conqueror. We are also going to see that we can have trust that the Lord is in control, loves us, and will see us through everything we face.
Fighter Verse: Romans 8:37 – “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. “

What’s Happening?
GRACE MARRIAGE | NOVEMBER 1
That’s why the Lakes Church is committed to supporting marriages. Our ministry, Grace Marriage, is our discipleship pathway that equips couples to GROW TOGETHER. When a couple puts their marriage under the grace of Christ and intentionally works on it, it will grow into a more enjoyable and God-glorifying union. Join us at our monthly meetings as we learn together how to grow closer to God and each other and strengthen our marriages.
We will meet on the first Friday of each month from 7-9 PM in Lakes West.

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
When was the last time your child was filled with worry or fear? Yep – it happens. And lots of time they react with anger to those emotions. This week, though, we’ll learn from the example of Nehemiah. Although he did many incredible things, Nehemiah leaned into God’s faithfulness and lived in the truth that God had always been and would continue to be faithful!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

Friday Fun Night – Game Night at Lakes West | November 22 at 6pm
WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).
