June 23 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 7:7-20, Part 21: Why Can’t I Change? – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: Why can’t I change? We ask ourselves that question so many times. Why does it seem that change is so hard and difficult to make in our lives? Romans 7 shows us why this is the case. Although we are dead to sin, we still wrestle against it. We have our “flesh” which is the sinful nature that lives inside of us. Sometimes the struggle can feel overwhelming. We can feel stuck. The good news is that God has given us the ability to become unstuck. We have victory already through Jesus Christ. We have the power to change. We are going to see how to tap into that power and to actually make changes in our lives.
Fighter Verse: Romans 7:15 – “For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. ”

What’s Happening?
40 DAYS THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT | JUNE 17
Soon we will be a week into our 40 Days through the New Testament! We want everybody to be involved in seeking the Lord through His Word. Listen to what Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” All it takes is 28 minutes a day to read through the New Testament in 40 days.

FAMILY CAMPOUT | JUNE 9
This is our annual church family outing to Somerset Beach Campground! Bring your camper or tent and camping gear for this fun weekend at the lake. Play on the beach, hike, swim, play volleyball or softball, sit around the bonfire, or just relax with friends. The cost for the campsite is $77 per campsite for 2 nights. Core Ministries – Weekly Update
All Out Summer and our 9-week study of the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 2 is here!!! Our first week is all about Love! Man…there’s so many different definitions of love in today’s culture. But we’ll be looking at how, because we’ve been blessed by God’s love in so many ways, that love should naturally affect all those around us – our family, our friends, but also our enemies and those we don’t even “see”.
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
