June 16 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 7:1-6, Part 20: The New Way and the Power to Obey – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis:When we came to faith in Jesus Christ, so many things happened. We are taken from the power of sin, satan and death and transferred to the Kingdom of God. We become “born again” and are heirs to God. We were also given a new way to live. We are free from trying to perform and follow all the stipulations and regulations of the law and can serve God in the new way of the Spirit. We have been given the power to obey God and bear fruit. Everything has radically changed. As we continue our Romans series we will continue to see how to be faithful and fruitful in our relationship with God.
Fighter Verse: Romans 7:6 – “But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.”

What’s Happening?
40 DAYS THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT | JUNE 17
Coming up on June 17, we will being our reading plan to read through the New Testament in 40 days. We want everybody to be involved in seeking the Lord through His Word. Listen to what Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” All it takes is 28 minutes a day to read through the New Testament in 40 days.
FAMILY CAMPOUT | JUNE 9
This is our annual church family outing to Somerset Beach Campground! Bring your camper or tent and camping gear for this fun weekend at the lake. Play on the beach, hike, swim, play volleyball or softball, sit around the bonfire, or just relax with friends. The cost for the campsite is $77 per campsite for 2 nights. Core Ministries – Weekly Update
All Out Summer and our 9-week study of the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 2 is here!!! Our first week is all about Love! Man…there’s so many different definitions of love in today’s culture. But we’ll be looking at how, because we’ve been blessed by God’s love in so many ways, that love should naturally affect all those around us – our family, our friends, but also our enemies and those we don’t even “see”.
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
