September 22 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 8:28, Part 29: The Greatest Verse in the Bible (Part 1) – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: Some consider the book of Romans the greatest book in the Bible. Romans 8 is considered the greatest chapter in the book. Romans 8:28 is considered the greatest verse in the chapter. One thing that is for certain, it is an amazing and life changing promise that the Lord has given to us. This one verse shows us so much on the character, sovereignty, providence, and power of God. It has encouraged and comforted Christians for thousands of years. When we grasp that He is working in all things for our good, it gives us a fortitude and strength to handle anything. There is so much to unpack that we will be spending three weeks just on this one verse.
Fighter Verse: Romans 8:28 – “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

FAMILY SERVICE | SEPTEMBER 29
5th Sunday at The Lakes means Family Service! There will be no Lakes Children program for Elementary Age (1st-5th grade) this Sunday. We invite children in this age group to worship together with their families this Sunday! Early childhood (ages Birth-Kindergarten) still available during both the 9:30am and 11:15am services upstairs.

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
I mean, a hand just appears and the fingers write a message on a wall? What?!? Do you have a guy to call if that ever happened to you? Well….Daniel had been faithful before in many things, and that faithfulness caused him to have more and more opportunities before the king. What would our lives look like if we committed to be faithful just one day at a time?
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).

Monthly Prayer | Lakes Women meet for prayer the first Saturday of each month from 9:30am to 10:30am!
Quarterly “Chat-a-latte” gathering | Coffee/Tea & fellowship in the lower level Atrium
Seasonal Bible Studies | Join us for our Fall Bible Study – Starved by Amy Seiffert. This will be a 6-week study on Thursdays. We will have a daytime (10:30-12pm) and evening (6:30-8pm) study that are going through the same book.
