June 22 | Ordinary People, Extraordinary God, John 12:1-8 – Mary, the Most Famous Act of Love – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: What is Jesus worth to you? In the Gospels, we meet a woman who does something radical. Her name was Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus. She was transformed by Jesus and filled with worship and gratitude. She takes her most prized possession, an alabaster jar of ointment, and anoints Jesus with it. Sometimes, we can miss just how significant this was. It was probably worth around $50,000. Some people criticized her but not Jesus. Instead He makes this declaration about her act, “And truly, I say to you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.” This Sunday, we are going to unpack one of the most famous acts of love by a disciple of Jesus.

BAPTISM – 6/29
Baptism is the natural next step once we are saved! It represents the new life that Jesus’ resurrection gives us and is a public sign of our faith in Christ. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, we invite you to take this opportunity to demonstrate your faith in Christ.
We will have an opportunity to get baptized during all services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
Jesus had spent so much time with people – feeding, healing, teaching. But, He knew that relatively few would follow Him as true disciples.
Jesus taught that the gate is narrow and that few will find it, let alone enter through it. How can each of us ensure that Jesus is Lord over our lives so that we too can enter through that narrow gate?
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).
High School students meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday at 6:30pm at Lakes West.

MONDAY NIGHT YOUNG ADULT GROUP –Looking for community, purpose, and real connection? Join our Young Adult Ministry—a place to grow in faith, build friendships, and navigate life together. Whether you’re in college, starting your career, or figuring things out—we’ve got a seat for you! Ages 18 (post high school) through 29, join us on Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm. We meet weekly at Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot). Email Ministry leader Dave Borowicz with any questions.
