June 1 | Ordinary People, Extraordinary God, Numbers 13:25-14:10, Part 1: Caleb, 1 in a Million – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: The Bible is filled, cover to cover, with people. It is jam-packed with ordinary men and women who are broken and in serious need of redemption. The good news is that the Bible is not a story about us but a story about God. It displays God’s glory and grace in individuals’ lives, families, nations, and the whole world. It shows us how Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost and transform us to become truly human. We are going to spend the Summer looking at ordinary people who have an extraordinary God. Some of the men and women who lived by faith are inspiring, encouraging, and examples to follow. Others serve as warnings of what happens if we reject the Lord. When we see how God has worked in the lives of others, it gives us hope that He can do the same in and through us. We will start our new series looking at the life and faith of Caleb. He was literally a 1 in a million type of person because of his faith in the Lord.
Fighter Verse: Numbers 14:24 – But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it.

FRIDAY FUN NIGHT – 6/6
(Date changed from 5/30 to 6/6)
Oh yeah – it’s gonna be awesome! Everything backwards all night long!!! Dinner, Games, Music…who knows what else?!?
Come join us from 6:30pm-9:00pm in the upper level of the church. Open to all children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
FAMILY CAMPOUT – 6/20-22
This is our annual church family outing to Somerset Beach Campground! Bring your camper or tent and camping gear for this fun weekend at the lake. Play on the beach, hike, swim, play volleyball or softball, sit around the bonfire, or just relax with friends. The cost for the campsite is $77 per campsite for 2 nights. Core Ministries – Weekly Update
Do you tend to lose things? Followed by searching frantically around for something you once had? But then…how do you react once you’ve found that thing? This week, we’re diving into three of Jesus’ parables that focus on God’s celebration when we turn from our ways and back to Him!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).
High School students meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday at 6:30pm at Lakes West.

MONDAY NIGHT YOUNG ADULT GROUP –Looking for community, purpose, and real connection? Join our Young Adult Ministry—a place to grow in faith, build friendships, and navigate life together. Whether you’re in college, starting your career, or figuring things out—we’ve got a seat for you! Ages 18 (post high school) through 29, join us on Mondays from 7:00-9:00pm. We meet weekly at Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot). Email Ministry leader Dave Borowicz with any questions.
