November 23 | Job, Let God Be God – Part 12: A Broken Hallelujah, Job 26-31 – Pastor Mark Pospisil

Synopsis: We come to some of Job’s last words. He is perplexed at God’s ways. Job knows that God is sovereign, all-powerful, and good. Yet, his experiences with suffering have been so taxing that he can’t trace God’s hand in them. He expresses his frustrations that although he has lived righteously and honored the Lord he is still suffering. He did not do anything to deserve this. All Job can do is praise God in the midst of his confusion and angst. He brings a “broken hallelujah.” Job is a broken man but the good news is that he knows God who can put all the pieces of his life back together.

Fighter Verse:  Job 26:14 – Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him!  But the thunder of his power who can understand?
