November 17 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 9:1-5, Part 37: God’s Sovereignty, Election and Israel – Part 1 – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: God’s Word and His promises will never fail. This is especially true when it comes to our salvation. What He promised to do, He will see through. In this section of Romans, it deals with God’s sovereignty, election, predestination, and Israel. There are huge and amazing truths and concepts but also some mysteries in this chapter. More ink has been spilled on Romans 9 than any other chapter in the book. This section is ultimately about God and His glory, as the rest of the Bible shows us. My desire and prayer is to spread a passion in our lives and hearts for God’s supremacy and glory in all things and fully grasp that His Word will never fail.
Fighter Verse: Romans 9:6 – “But it is not as though the word of God has failed.”

THANKSGIVING SERVICE – MONDAY, NOV 25 AT 6:30PM
We are excited to host a Thanksgiving Service again this year, on the Monday before Thanksgiving! Join us as we reorient our thankfulness towards God and celebrate together all that He has done!
We will have childcare available for ages birth-4 on the 2nd floor of the building.
WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS DINNER – DEC 1
We invite you to join us for the annual Women’s Christmas Dinner at Baker’s of Milford on December 1st. Doors open at 5pm and event begins at 5:30pm. Don’t miss this festive evening of Worship and a message from Laura McAlpine as we prepare our hearts in celebration of our Savior’s birth.

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
We get to continue to look at Nehemiah this week, as we get closer to wrapping up almost two years in the Old Testament! We talk about faithfulness all the time, but it’s hard to live up to. We fall short all too often. But, by God’s grace, He is faithful in all things! We’ll look at what Nehemiah said about the greatness and holiness of God and what our response to that should be!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).
