This Week | October 18 – 24, 2024

October 20 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 8:31-32, Part 33: If God is For You, Who Can Be Against You? – Pastor Mark Pospisil

Synopsis: In this last section of Romans 8, there are many questions that are posed. One of the first is this, “if God is for us, who can be against us?” This is a great thought provoking question. What we have seen clearly throughout the book of Romans is the power of the gospel. We have seen all the benefits and promises that Jesus gives to us when we belong to Him. It is completely certain that God is for us in Christ Jesus. If God is with us, who or what could even stand a chance against us? Absolutely nothing. We are going to see how this promise shapes our faith to live boldly and courageously in our world today. We will also see how through the gospel we can rest assure that the Lord will give us everything we need.

Fighter Verse: Romans 8:31-32 – “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?”

We will have an opportunity to get baptized during all services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!

We are looking for donations for Harvest Fest! If you would like to donate, we are in need of pre-packaged candy to hand out at Harvest Fest. Last year each trunk brought their own 300-350 pieces and the church supplied over 19,000 pieces!

You can bring donations in on a Sunday morning and drop them off at the Welcome Desk.
