January 26 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 11:33-36, Part 44: Restoring Reverence for God – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: God is to be reverenced. I think most people would agree with that statement but what does that exactly mean? Why is God to be revered? How do we rightly revere Him? Romans 11 ends with one of the most astonishing poems about God’s glory in the Bible. It is filled with worship, devotion, and amazement. We are going to unpack it and see how to restore reverence for God. When we rightly understand who the Lord is and what He is worthy of, it transforms our lives.

BAPTISM – 2/2
Baptism is the natural next step once we are saved! It represents the new life that Jesus’ resurrection gives us and is a public sign of our faith in Christ. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, we invite you to take this opportunity to demonstrate your faith in Christ.
We will have an opportunity to get baptized during all services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY – 2/3
We are excited to announce our new Lakes Church Young Adult Ministry. This ministry is for ages 18 years – 29 years (post high school).

2/3: Young Adult Ministry at 7pm
Core Ministries – Weekly Update
After someone accepts Christ as the Lord and Savior, sometimes they wonder, “What do I do now?” There’s a million answers to that question, but Jesus’ invitation to the disciples was pretty simple – “Follow Me”! We’ll talk about what that invitation looks like this week.
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!

WEDNESDAY YOUTH GROUP – Middle School and High School students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm for a combined youth group service in Lakes West (7150 Cooley Lake Rd, shared upper parking lot).
