January 19 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 11:17-32, Part 43: What It Means to be Grafted in Christ – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: The Lord uses many different examples and metaphors when it comes to the Kingdom of God and our salvation. One that is highlighted throughout the Bible is the idea of a plant. Jesus tells us that He is the vine and we are branches in John 15. Apart from Him, we are dead and can do nothing. Romans 11 uses the same image to describe our great salvation as being “grafted in.” What does this mean for our lives? How do we get grafted in? What happens to us when we are? And what is God’s ultimate purpose for the Jews? When we consider God’s wisdom, power, and plan, it brings awe and worship to our souls knowing that we are loved and cared for Him.
Fighter Verse: Romans 11:32 – For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

Baptism is the natural next step once we are saved! It represents the new life that Jesus’ resurrection gives us and is a public sign of our faith in Christ. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, we invite you to take this opportunity to demonstrate your faith in Christ.
We will have an opportunity to get baptized during all services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
We’ve all been hungry before. Some of us even get ‘hangry’. Truth be told, we probably hunger for a million different things. This week, as Jesus faces temptation, He shows us how we should hunger for God’s Word as our ultimate source of satisfaction. So….What do you long for above all else?
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
