January 12 | Romans – Grasping The Gospel, Romans 11:1-16, Part 42: God is Faithful, He has not Given up on You – Pastor Mark Pospisil
Synopsis: Sometimes, we can look around at the world and all the darkness and feel isolated. But, we need to take our eyes off of the world and move them upward to God. The Lord’s will, will be done. He has a plan for His people and for our individual lives. We can trust that God is faithful to His Word and His plan for our lives. We pick back up our Romans series in Romans 11. This chapter answers a lot of important questions and brings a conclusion to God’s design for the Jewish people. Questions like – “has God given up on me,” or “what is God’s plan for Israel,” and “what is God’s plan for my life?” These are all very important for us to know and they give us great hope and assurance in our walk with Christ.
Fighter Verse: Romans 11:1 – I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means!

Baptism is the natural next step once we are saved! It represents the new life that Jesus’ resurrection gives us and is a public sign of our faith in Christ. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, we invite you to take this opportunity to demonstrate your faith in Christ.
We will have an opportunity to get baptized during all services on this Sunday. Please fill out this form to let me know you are interested in getting baptized!
SPRINGHILL WINTER CAMP – 2/14-16
The Lakes Youth are heading to SpringHill Camp for their 2025 Winter Retreat! Winter retreat will be in Evart, MI on Feb. 14-16, 2025. This retreat will be open to both Middle and High School students. We will join many other churches for a great weekend of worship, teaching and a lot of fun. There is tubing, horseback riding, sport’s tournaments, ropes courses, broomball and tons of other activities.
Get signed up today! The cost of the event is $200 for the weekend.

Core Ministries – Weekly Update
Although today looks different in so many ways from the time of Jesus, not all that much has changed. People look for faith in so many different ways. And they rely on certain traditions and practices. But…John the Baptist pointed out that faith in anyone other than Jesus, or relying solely on those traditions will never offer salvation!
EARLY CHILDHOOD – Early Childhood (Birth – Kindergarten) program available during the 9:30 and 11:15 Sunday services.
ELEMENTARY AGE (1st-5th grade) – Elementary age program available Sundays during the 9:30 and 11:15 services and Wednesday Kids Creek from 6:30-8pm during the school year!
