It is because of God’s working in faithful contributors like you that our ministries at The Lakes are possible. This year, we were able to purchase a building we have been renting and using for our youth, along with other ministries. As we look to the future, paying off our building loan will open many doors for our church.
Join us in our 2025 initiative to pay back the building loan for both the main building and new building purchase while we look ahead to where God is leading The Lakes Church next.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR LAKES WEST?
The proposed building renovations will address Lakes West by creating:
- Classrooms to be used for small groups and study groups
- Designated gym space for recreation purpose
- A worship center with seating capacity for 150
- Office space for staff

What’s the timeline for the Building Campaign?
We have a 36 month timeframe that will provide focus while minimizing impact on congregation.
Paying off our debt allows us to:
- Leverage our resources to address the needs of our members and community.
- Be unburdened from the control of others.
- Pursue a church plant without the burden of paying down our two existing buildings.

How can I be part of the project?
• The first way is to be praying for God’s continual favor and wisdom moving forward. No matter what else you can offer, this is the most important way to be part of this exciting project.
• The second way to participate is financially. The Lord loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:6-7). We want our people and friends of our church to joyfully contribute to this great endeavor. Not reluctantly or under compulsion but cheerfully as an act of faith trusting in the Lord.
• The third way is to be available to serve. The more hands available the quicker we can renovate and continue our ministries at Lakes West.
• The fourth way is to be faithful right now. The Lord has uniquely gifted you to be part of His church and serve others (1 Cor 12).
How can I give for the new building?
There are many ways to contribute:
• Online under the Give tab. There is a Building Fund to designate gifts.
• Offering during service. Just make sure to mark it for the Building.
• Mail in a check or gift to the Lakes office.
• Asset Giving. You can transfer appreciated stocks and bonds which saves capital gains taxes.

• Pray that God would provide for us and we would be good stewards to what He has given us.
